composer.

Vivaldi wrote many concertos. A concerto is a piece of music where one instrument is the star and the rest of the orchestra backs them up. Like a pop diva with her band backing her up!

Vivaldi’s most famous piece is The Four Seasons. It is actually four different pieces, one for each season—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Vivaldi loved quick changes in his music. For example, the song might suddenly go from loud to soft, from fast to slow, from a solo to full orchestra.

Vivaldi’s most famous piece is “The Four Seasons,” which is a violin concerto. It’s actually a group of four violin concertos, each representing a different season—spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Vivaldi loved writing music that had sudden shifts in tempo and dynamic, for example, suddenly getting louder and faster or slower and sadder.
